Signia Cellion Rechargeable Hearing Aids
When the hearing industry polls consumers for the features they desire in hearing aids, there is an overwhelming call for a sustainable, rechargeable battery solution. Signia has answered this call with the Cellion primax, the world's first hearing aid with lithium-ion inductive charging. Cellion primax hearing aids require only a four-hour charge for 24 hours of listening. For a quick charge, 30 minutes will give you seven hours of listening. Cellion primax begins charging as soon as it is placed in the charger. The battery solution available in Cellion is similar to that of our other small electronic devices with long-lasting energy life, such as our smartphones and tablets. For those on the go, Signia offers a Micro USB adaptor for Cellion aids, which allows for charging from USB-compatible sources such as a laptop, power pack, or car adaptor.
Cellion's OneShell design houses the lithium-ion battery, which in itself has innovative qualities. With an induction charger that is contactless, users simply place Cellion primax aids into the charging device and they begin charging immediately. The charging device also dehumidifies Cellion aids, which ensures that they continue to function in top form. Cellion primax's battery is sealed within the device, and does not require removal or replacement. The battery will last the life of the hearing aid, which averages five to seven years. If the battery does require replacement, you'll come visit us at Hearing Market for a change. This makes life easier for hearing aid wearers – there is no more fumbling with small compartments and tiny batteries. Because batteries do not require frequent replacement, this benefits both the wearer's wallet and the environment!

Cellion Primax Features
Cellion primax is a receiver-in-canal (RIC) hearing aid, designed to treat varying degrees of hearing loss from moderate to severe, with two performance levels (5px and 7px). For those with an active lifestyle, Cellion primax is built with an IP 68 rating to protect it from the elements. A simple push button on the RIC component makes for convenient manual program adjustments. Cellion has also been designed with exchangeable RIC housing, which means if you change your mind about your hearing aid color, we can switch out the body for you!
Cellion is built on the Signia primax platform, boasting all of its best features. Primax was the first hearing aid from Signia, a new brand from Sivantos Group. Based on results from independent studies, primax hearing aids have been found to reduce listening effort throughout the day, thanks to advanced features such as SpeechMaster and EchoShield. Signia has also drawn from the wealth of technological advancements made by its sister brand, Siemens, allowing for better than normal hearing in challenging noise situations. SpeechMaster is designed to address one of hearing loss's greatest challenges. Many people with hearing loss will say that while they can hear, they cannot understand. Hearing loss interferes with the nuances of speech, especially when conversations occur in noisy environments. SpeechMaster has been designed to automatically focus on the speakers with whom you are conversing, while reducing background noise in your environment. This combination enables you to stay in the loop of your conversations, without distractions or obstructions. With SpeechMaster and directional microphones, Cellion hearing aids improve speech understanding and focus, and remove the strain in loud places.
Cellion primax's EchoShield feature protects sounds and speech in acoustically challenging situations, where there may be reverb or echo. Places such as houses of worship, lecture halls, auditoriums, or atriums could be challenging for those with hearing loss, as sounds tend to bounce and reflect against high ceilings and hard surfaces. EchoShield provides Cellion wearers with a comfortable listening situation, balancing out these sharp sounds.
Cellion Primax Wireless Capabilities and Accessories
Cellion primax is a wireless hearing aid, which means it may connect to various Bluetooth-equipped electronics with the easyTek device. Cellion primax wearers may stream phone calls, music, and other media directly from their smartphones or tablets to their hearing aids.
Wireless connectivity to these devices also allow Cellion wearers to make quick adjustments to their listening experience with volume and program controls. Through a connection with your smartphone, easyTek allows you to use your smartphone to make adjustments to your Cellion aids, such as spatial configuration, volume control, directionality, bass, and so on.
Signia Accessories Compatible With Cellion Aids
Even with the most advanced features embodied in these tiny, powerful aids, we may find ourselves in situations where we need an extra boost. Signia offers a line of accessories that are compatible with Cellion and easyTek.
The TV Transmitter connects your TV to easyTek, which allows you to wirelessly stream audio from your TV shows and movies directly to your Cellion aids. If you find yourself in situations where you need an extra boost with conversation, Signia offers the VoiceLink accessory. VoiceLink is a microphone placed near the source of speech, which picks up speakers' voices and delivers them wirelessly to your Cellion primax aids. VoiceLink is especially useful for students in classrooms and people in meetings.
Signia Remote Controls Compatible With Cellion Aids
Signia remote controls come in two models, both convenient, discreet and easy to use. As you move through different listening environments throughout the day, you'll inevitably want to make adjustments to your hearing features. Signia's easyPocket has large buttons and an easy-to-read display, while the miniPocket is small enough to fit on a keyring. Both are small but simple to operate. For smartphone users, the touchControl app offers the same adjustment options, from hearing programs to volume, bass, and treble levels.
Signia Cellion vs Other Rechargeable Hearing Aids
Rechargeable hearing aids and rechargeable hearing aid batteries have been around for decades, but Signia Cellion primax is by far one of the most powerful and advanced. Cellion primax offers 60% more energy than its competitors when it comes to battery power, and it is currently the hearing aid that requires the least amount of charge for the longest period of uninterrupted listening. This is due to the powerful lithium-ion battery, which lasts up to five years without the need for replacement.
Reviews of Signia Cellion
From Hearing Tracker, Signia Cellion primax's 7px model received 80% satisfaction ratings. Independent reviewer sites, such as TrustedNerd.com are pleased with the sound quality of Signia primax devices. Reviewer Johnathan Yaniv reports, "Before using the Signia primax, I didn't know how much of the conversation I was missing. With the Signia's primax mind-blowing feature called SpeechMaster along with their spatial configuration, I am able to key in on that person and catch all of those elements that I might have missed previously. Conversations are clear as day with the Signia primax... In loud environments such as the receptions, I can easily use my easyTek device to configure the Signia primax so it's not picking up all the background noise and people talking."
Signia (Formerly Siemens)
Signia is the newest brand from Sivantos Group, a leading hearing aid company that also includes the innovative Siemens in its family. Siemens and Signia are co-branded, with Signia building off of Siemens' most advanced technology, such as the binax. As the world's first hearing aid to outperform normal hearing in challenging noise situations, binax's platform provides the foundation for Signia's debut model, the primax. Launched in 2015, Signia has introduced a number of hearing aids on the primax platform, including the Signia Silk. Signia primax hearing aids has been proven in independent clinical trials to reduce listening effort throughout the day, thus improving cognitive ability.
